There are so many reasons why you should socialize your dog, some of them are listed below.

Most dog owners do not know that some dogs bite due to fear then through aggression, that is the reason why socializing your puppy is very important.
When dogs are not allow to explore the outside world, he can grow up to be fearful adult dog. Also, if dogs especially puppies are raise in an isolated location where they have no or little exposure to humans except those feeding them, they will grow up to become aggressive. If you want to learn how to socialize your dog and prevent aggressive behavior, then you must understand that socializing your dog is very important.
First thing you should know is that, the period of socializing a puppy is between 8 and 16 weeks of age. In between this period your puppy mature very fast, which mean that, this is the period you should start exposing your puppy to socialization. When puppies are not socialized at an early age enough often remain fearful when expose to new environment or situations, like (meeting his new family, teens, babies, woman, people,in uniforms, men, people riding bikes or other dogs etc.) can be very frightening.
Secondly, enrolling your puppy for a puppy preschool can be helpful. A puppy preschool is a group training classes for puppies. Before you enroll for a preschool, ensure you choose a puppy training class where emphasis is having fun and meeting new puppies and their owners. Basic training like food and praise rewards for motivation will also make you and your puppy have more fun during the class.
Socializing your puppy does not end at puppy preschool. It must continue throughout your puppy up bringing, as he grows older continue to take him to different places and allow him to gain many new experience in those environment. Once you learn how to socialize your puppy, you will be able to prevent aggressive dog behavior.
Always remember to start slowly, and gradually your dog tolerance will build up.
